Food quality very good and piping hot. Speed of service excellent considering we visited at peak time on a Saturday evening. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Hot, fresh, tasty food. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable surroundings. What more can you ask for?

Absolutely terrible food. Had a burger. The bacon was undercooked and very fatty. The actual burger was average at best. The bread was stale and the lettuce and tomato was rank. The 'triple cooked chips' were definitely not triple cooked as they were barely coloured. And the chicken burger my partner had was ridiculously dry. Definitely will avoid like the plague.

My daughter and I visited here on the 22nd December, having been to the White Rose Centre. Very convenient, as very close to the White Rose, so it is a great pit stop before/after visiting the White Rose Centre. It was mid afternoon, around 4.00pm so it wasn't overcrowded. You have to wait behind a sign that says Please Wait To Be Seated .. as at this particular time there were many tables available for families etc to take a seat to have a meal I thought the sign was not needed. When it gets busier, then fair enough. Anyway, my daughter ordered the drinks at the bar whilst I found a seat for us .. as you can see from the photos, I found a very cosy place for us both to sit at the side of a gas fire. The bar staff were very friendly, and approachable. The place itself was very clean, including the toilets. As this is a child friendly pub, there were children around, especially when time moved on. There wasn't much noise from them, but I would probably recommend somewhere different to have a meal, as I can see it becoming noisier when children arrive to have a meal with parents etc. I personally like to enjoy a meal and a drink whilst young children are not around, as I like relative peace and quiet with adult conversation. Overall though, I would definitely recommend The Harvester .. especially when you are tired from your shopping, recharge your batteries so to speak.

We had the lunch time menu. Service was fast and all staff friendly . Food hot and tasty and cooked well. Salad and bread rolls fresh and good choice of both. Good value for money. Will return.
