Nice food, friendly staff and atmosphere
Booked to go for our Christmas Dinner with 8 family members and all I can say is it was disgusting. 'Veg' was over cooked cold mush and roast potatoes were like bricks. All 5 tables full of people all said the same. Ruined our dinner completely and the so called Management did a runner and left poor waiting staff to deal with everyone! Extremely poor!
Just had Christmas lunch. Couldn't have expected anything more for a superb Christmas meal. Really terrific food, attentive and friendly service and lovely ambience.
Went there for lunch. Absolutely delicious food, quick service and lovely, friendly staff. It's a roadside pub with ample parking and beautiful views over the fields. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Lovely views from the garden area and good selection of beer, however my wife and I are of the same opinion that you are never made to feel welcome and the people behind the bar are quite rude. Last time we went in there we were going to eat but we were told that they don't have a children's menu, which is very strange seen as though they have a children's play area. There isn't anything on the adult menu that my 6 year old would enjoy eating so we didn't bother. The drink prices are quite expensive too. This pub could be lovely with some friendly staff and a bit of a revamp in the outside area.
